1. PRODUCT OWNER DIGITAL COMMUNICATION PLATFORM (F/M) 

Summary of the role 

As Technical Product Owner for the Acquia / Drupal platform, you will be accountable for translating the communication product vision into a coherent, secure and scalable platform roadmap, backlog and delivery plan. 

You will act as the main interface between business stakeholders, IT architecture, cybersecurity and delivery teams, ensuring the platform evolves consistently with business needs, digital standards and security requirements. 

The role is international by nature and requires strong autonomy, communication skills and the ability to work in a multi‑cultural, distributed environment. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Strategic Product Ownership 

• The platform’s strategic vision is defined by internal clients. Your role is to bring that vision to life. 

• Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for the Acquia / Drupal platform in alignment with Group digital strategy set by the communication Department 

• Ensure business needs are translated into scalable, secure and sustainable platform evolutions 

• Contribute to the standardization and industrialization of digital solutions across entities 

Stakeholder Management 

• Collaborate with corporate communication, marketing, digital and business teams to collect, challenge and prioritize requirements 

• Act as a trusted partner for business stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of constraints, opportunities and trade‑offs 

• Coordinate with Group IT architects and cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards 

Backlog & Agile Delivery 

• Create, maintain and prioritize the product backlog 

• Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria 

• Participate actively in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives 

• Ensure delivered features meet quality expectations and business value objectives 

Platform Governance 

• Ensure coherence between multiple websites and use cases built on the Acquia platform 

• Manage dependencies with other platforms (IAM, hosting, analytics, CRM, middleware, etc.) 

• Monitor platform usage, performance and adoption, and propose continuous improvements 

International & Outsourced Delivery 

• Work closely with external vendors and offshore delivery teams responsible for run and build activities 

• Ensure proper communication, prioritization and quality control despite geographical distance 

• Contribute to vendor performance monitoring 

TECHNICAL SKILLS & TOOLS 

• Strong experience with Drupal ecosystems, ideally on Acquia Cloud 

• Good understanding of: 

• Content management systems and digital platforms 

• Web architectures (front‑end / back‑end separation, APIs) 

• Hosting, performance, availability and security constraints 

• Knowledge of integration patterns and middleware capabilities 

• General IT culture including: 

• Identity management (SSO, IAM, MFA) 

• Collaboration tools (Microsoft 365) 

• Cybersecurity principles 

• Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or similar) 

SOFT SKILLS 

• Technical skils, ability to understand internal client’s need and translate them into technical specifications 

• Ability to work efficiently in cross‑functional and remote teams 

• Structured, analytical and solution‑oriented mindset 

• Sense of service, quality and business value 

• Capacity to interact with stakeholders at all levels (business, IT, management, vendors) 

• Adaptability and ability to manage ambiguity in an evolving environment 

PROFILE  

Academic background & Experience  

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent 

• At least 10 years of experience as: 

• Product Owner, Digital Product Manager or Functional Lead in a comms and marketing environment 

• OR Drupal / digital platform consultant evolving toward product ownership 

• Experience working with external service providers / outsourcing partners 

• Previous exposure to international or multi‑entity environments is a strong advantage 

Language Requirements 

• French: fluent (spoken and written) – mandatory 

• English: fluent (spoken and written) – mandatory 

• Romanian is a plus but not required
