Salesforce Junior Developer

To support its wide range of business, Equans is deploying a worldwide multi clouds Salesforce platform dedicated to Customer knowledge, CRM, quotation processing and Field Service activities in an end-to-end model.

Equans is now setting up a new team upon the global IT Shared Line of Services “Sales & Services” to support the growing activities of its Salesforce landscape.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

In coordination with Tech Lead, develop and customize Salesforce components; Support bug fixes and enhancements; Familiarity with Apex and LWC basics.

 

KEY OBJECTIVES and KPI

  • Deliver assigned development tasks on time
  • Ensure code quality and unit test coverage
  • Support deployment activities

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop Apex classes and triggers
  • Build Lightning Web Components
  • Fix bugs and implement enhancements
  • Write unit tests and maintain code coverage
  • Collaborate with Tech Lead for design reviews

  • Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I (preferred)

TECHNICAL Skills

Core Technical Skills (Salesforce Core)

  • No-code Low-Code: Proficiency in Salesforce Flow is essential for automating business processes without writing code.
  • Apex & SOQL: The ability to read, debug, and write Apex (triggers, classes, batch jobs) and query the database using SOQL to extract data for reporting or troubleshooting.
  • LWC: Basic knowledge of the modern UI framework to maintain or adjust existing custom interfaces.
  • Administration: Understanding the security model (roles, profiles, permission sets) and the data model (standard vs. custom objects).

Specific Skills for the RUN Team (Ecosystem & DevOps)

  • Debugging & Troubleshooting: The ability to analyze Debug Logs to identify why a process failed in production.
  • Data Management: Experience with tools like Data Loader for migrations, mass updates, or data cleansing.
  • Integrations (APIs): Understanding how Salesforce communicates with external systems (such as SAP or other ERPs) via REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Version Control (Git and Copado): Familiarity with Git-based workflows for managing code changes and deployments and Copado familiarity.
