Our Australian team consists of approximately 50 highly skilled engineers, and it is expanding
rapidly due to the growth of large-scale hybrid projects.

Position Overview
Manage bid preparation being responsible for coordination with internal and external
stakeholders to obtain all deliverable required to submit winning bids.

rapidly due to the growth of large-scale hybrid projects.
As we enter into new opportunities involving substations and Battery Energy Storage Systems
(BESS), our central engineering team overseas will provide support to ensure smooth
integration and implementation.

In this role, you will report daily to the Business Development Director in Australia.
Additionally, you will maintain frequent communication with Project Managers, ensuring
cohesive collaboration and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Opportunity Assessment & Bid Strategy
• Support business development activities during project origination and customer
engagement.• Maintain an opportunity pipeline and tender schedule.

Bid Planning & Coordination
• Lead multidisciplinary bid teams across engineering, procurement, commercial, legal,
HSE, and project delivery functions.
• Develop bid execution plans, schedules, responsibilities, and submission milestones.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of tender inputs.
• Organise and chair bid review meetings and risk workshops.

Technical Proposal Development
• Coordinate development of EPC technical solutions for:
- Utility-scale Solar PV projects
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Hybrid Solar + BESS facilities
- Grid connection and substation works
- SCADA, Energy Management Systems and plant controls
• Ensure compliance with client specifications, grid requirements, and regulatory
obligations.

Commercial & Costing Management
• Lead the preparation of EPC cost estimates and pricing models.
• Coordinate quotations from suppliers, subcontractors, and strategic partners.
• Develop commercial qualifications and assumptions.

Contract & Risk Management
• Review EPC contracts, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
• Coordinate legal and commercial reviews.
• Present risk profiles to management and approval committees.

Proposal Preparation & Submission
• Prepare and manage high-quality proposal documents.
• Coordinate executive summaries, project execution strategies, technical responses, and
commercial schedules.

Negotiation & Project Handover
• Support commercial negotiations with customers and partners.
• Participate in contract finalisation and award activities.
• Coordinate lessons learned and bid close-out reviews.• Ensure structured handover of awarded projects to delivery teams including all
assumptions, risks and commitments.

The profile we’re looking for:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying,
Project Management, Commerce, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in EPC, renewable energy, power generation, transmission,
or infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in bidding, tendering, estimating, project development, or
commercial management.
