IT Procurement Officer Intern
6-month internship starting in January 2027
Position based in Courbevoie, France

 

Your Scope

 

 

Within the Group Procurement Department of Equans SAS, you will support the Procurement teams in managing IT categories on an international scale.

 

You will work across a diverse portfolio of IT categories, including IT hardware, software, cybersecurity, AI and related IT professional services.

You will join a dynamic and collaborative international environment, reporting to a manager who will support you in developing your skills in strategic sourcing, negotiations, project management, and supplier management.

 

As part of your role, you will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across France and internationally, including IT, Finance, Legal, Cybersecurity, Data, CSR and various business functions within the Group.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Sourcing : Conduct market research, identify new suppliers, and monitor technological developments, innovations, and market trends in the IT sectors.
  • RFI, RFP and RFQ launching:
    • Support international projects and tenders, from requirement definition through supplier selection and contract execution.
    • Contribute to the commercial, technical, and financial evaluation of supplier proposals and support sourcing recommendations.
    • Prepare and participate in negotiations with strategic Group suppliers.
  • Contractualization: Assist in managing framework agreements and supplier relationships within a multicultural environment.
  • Procurement data analysis: Contribute to spend analysis, identify optimization opportunities across the Group, and present insights to key stakeholders.
  • CSR: Support Responsible Procurement initiatives and the integration of sustainability and ESG criteria into supplier selection processes.

 

 

 

Your Profile

 

  • You are currently pursuing a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Engineering, Specialised Master’s in Procurement or a related field.
  • You are looking for a final-year internship or a gap-year internship opportunity.
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize and structure information effectively.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to engage with diverse stakeholders in an international environment.
  • You are curious, proactive, autonomous, and detail-oriented.
  • You enjoy working in a team and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You have a good professional English level both written and spoken.
  • An interest in CSR topics, and AI transformation would be an advantage.
